Pistachio Rose Cardamom Latte
Ingredients
1 cup shelled raw pistachio
3 cups of water
Pinch of salt
4 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
1/2 tsp rose water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp beet or dragon fruit powder
Dried rose and pistachios to garnish (optional)
Directions
Place pistachios in a bowl and cover with water. Let it soak for 10 hours or overnight
Drain and rinse pistachio
Put pistachio and water, pinch of salt in a blender and blend until smooth.
Strain through a cheesecloth or nut-milk bag. Save the pulp. Later you can add to your smoothies, oatmeal and soups.
Transfer the pistachio milk to a pot, add the cardamom, rose water, vanilla and pitaya or beet powder. Bring to a simmer over medium heart for 8 minutes.
Remove from heat, strain through a fine mesh sieve. Froth using electric frother, and serve with dried rose petals and pistachio nuts)
